Highway 120 Closure Information: CA-120 E is closed into Yosemite Valley due to this year's weather. A detour is available that takes you into Yosemite Valley on scenic CA-140 and El Portal Rd. Directions are as follows:
Head northeast on Old Hwy 120 toward CA-120 E, and in .4 miles, turn right onto CA-120 E. Travel 4.1 miles, and turn right onto Smith Station Rd. In 1/10th mile, turn left to stay on Smith Station Rd. Travel 5.6 miles and continue on Greeley Hill Rd. In 8.4 miles, turn left onto CA-49 S. Travel 25.9 miles, and turn left onto CA-140 E. In 31.5 miles, continue onto El Portal Rd. Travel 6.4 miles and make a slight left at CA-41 S. In 242 feet, continue on Southside Dr. and travel 2.6 miles into Yosemite Valley.

Directions from the Bay Area:
Follow Hwy-120 East to Groveland. Continue 1/2 mile East of Groveland on Hwy-120 and then turn right onto Old Hwy-120. Follow Old Hwy-120 for 1 mile. You will see Yosemite Pines RV Park and Campground on the left.
Directions from Yosemite National Park:
Follow Hwy-120 West for 22 miles after you leave Yosemite National Park. Turn left onto Old Hwy-120. Follow Old Hwy-120 for 1/2 mile to the Yosemite Pines RV Park and Campground on the right.
Directions from Southern California:
RV'ers, please do not take Hwy 49 as Mapquest recommends, road is very windy and not RV friendly. Also, please do not take Old Priest Grade. This route is for passenger vehicles only and is very steep and windy. Weight limits do apply and are enforced.
Take Interstate 5 to Hwy-99 toward Merced. Take Hwy-59 north to Snelling. In Snelling make a left hand turn at Hwy-J59. Continue on Hwy-J59 until it comes to a end. Turn right and you will be on Hwy-108. Continue approximately 4 miles and make a right hand turn on Hwy-120. Stay on Hwy-120 through the town of Groveland. Continue 1/2 mile East of Groveland on Hwy-120 and then turn right onto Old Hwy-120. Follow Old Hwy-120 for 1 mile. You will see Yosemite Pines RV Park and Campground on the left.
